A CoGS card ships with the firmware already installed. Other supporting applications and files are available here for download. The card installs CoGS Config, plus Tool219 and Tool226 for audio playback. The card installs the CoGS Config CDA after booting into the Finder on a GS. The card ROM is accessible from any supported Apple II.

CoGS Image Manager 1.6
Shares a folder of disk images, audio, and pictures on your LAN. The card lists that share as Your Source, with your folders as categories. Needs firmware 1.13 or later, and macOS 13 or later. 1.6 tells the card whether the share is writable, so the Finder padlock follows the Writable switch (firmware 1.26), and puts the activity lights out when sharing stops.

CoGS boot disk (cogsall)
A GS/OS disk with the Control Panel, the Status NDA, and the Marinetti link layer 1.3 already in place. Boot it and the CoGS menu is the card's, the same one you get from any GS/OS disk.
On the card you do not need this file. Open the CoGS menu, Browse Disks, press F for Featured, and Return on CoGS Boot Disk (cogsall).

CoGS Util Kit: link layer, Control Panel, and NDA
An 800K disk of the CoGS pieces to copy by hand onto a GS/OS volume you already boot, for when you do not want to boot cogsall. The link layer is TCPIP/COGS (Marinetti link layer 1.3; poll mode with firmware 1.26, falls back on older cards). Copy it to System:TCPIP on your disk, then pick CoGS in the TCP/IP control panel's Link Layer menu. The same disk has the Control Panel at CDEVS/COGS and the Status NDA at DESK.ACCS/COGS.NDA.
There is no CDA on this disk. CoGS Config is installed by the card and shows up under Open-Apple-Control-Esc. If an older COGS.CDA is sitting in Desk.Accs, delete it. That file predates the card and fails once the link layer is up.
On the card, the same disk is under Featured as CoGS Util Kit (cogsutil). Mount it on a second drive and copy from there.
